Song of Joan

by Boss Moxi

This song is hypothetical; written in the perspective of David Robert Jones, at the point in his life where he decides to begin the full time commitment of fulfilling his dream and becoming the outlandish and controversial performer the world knows as David Bowie. On a night that never happened, a woman named Joan, provokes young David’s poetic outburst as he protests his visions and his plans of becoming a king. This is a demo, lightly mixed from the recording of Boss Moxi’s debut album, tracked during early July this year. A 2 minute musical box solo acts a special feature on the end of this particular demo.
